We are currently accepting applications for a Business Analyst. The position will be located at our Corporate Office on the East side of Madison, WI, ranked the “#1 Best Place to Live” by The position requires up to 15% travel and will report to the IT Applications Manager.

Job Summary


The primary purpose of the Business Analyst is to elicit, analyze, and validate the needs of our stakeholders. Primarily the stakeholders will be internal business partners. The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions.  The Business Analyst will be proactive in understanding the needs of the business and industry trends to evaluate new technologies to optimize business processes.  They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the developers clearly understand business requirements. They will assist in supporting our business through troubleshooting issues, writing test scripts, executing testing, and writing excellent documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn business processes and act as the liaison between the business stakeholders and developers.
  • Gather and compile stakeholder requirements in concise documentation.
  • Establish a standard process for all phases of the SDLC that involves a business analyst.
  • Effectively test to ensure the technology solutions implemented deliver the established requirements.
  • Author test plans and procedures for testing new software or software upgrades.
  • Use our ticket management system to triage user questions and bugs.
  • Troubleshoot issues within applications raised by business partners or found in testing.
  • Diagram business process flows and their relationship with various systems. (Microsoft Visio)
  • Create functional design documents.
  • Mentor and train users in best practices on business applications.
  • Occasionally manage projects and communicate with third party vendors.
  • Occasionally travel to our plants to complete essential project tasks.
  • Perform all tasks while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular in-person attendance at the office or plant.



  • Four-year degree in information systems, business administration, or other comparable degree.
  • 3+ years functioning as a Business Analyst or similar skillset, preferably within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or comparable ERP system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or comparable CRM system.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license.
